Membership Information
 

The Library is open for reference and enquiry services for registered members.

 
How to Join
 
  • Complete a membership application form.
  • Submit two (2) recent passport size photographs.
  • Obtain a recommendation letter from a senior staff of an organisation or a legal practitioner.
  • Allow 48 hours for processing your application.
  • Receive membership card that must be presented for all transactions.
What You Should Know
  • The Centre reserves the right to refuse membership to applicants without giving reasons.
  • Membership becomes valid only after a membership application fee has been paid and a borrowers card is issued.
  • Membership is renewable annually.
  • Membership is not transferable; members are requested to inform the Centre of any change in address.
  • Photocopying services are available in the Library for Centre materials only.  International copyright laws will apply.
  • The loss of membership card or any other library material must be reported immediately.  A replacement fee will be charged.
  • Handbags and other large carriers should be deposited in the drawers provided behind the Library Reception desk.
  • Use of mobile telephones is not allowed in the Library.
  • Membership will be cancelled with immediate effect upon infringement of any of these regulations or theft of the Centre's materials.

Individual membership N5,000 annually
Institutional membership (For schools & NGOs)
N10,000 annually
Corporate membership N25,000 annually
Computer printouts N10 per page
Photocopy N5 per page
Replacement of lost membership card N500
Internet access N5 per minute
Multimedia and CD-Rom searches FREE
Enquiry service FREE
